Look Closely

No rider, just a board.

Couple more from Irene

Hurricane Irene

Cleaning off the camera card and came across these shots I never shared with any of you. The offshore breezes created some scenic spray. This was down by the Cape Canaveral border.

The Other LA

Louisiana
Bayou

We drove over this place on the way here and I thought it looked like the place where they film the Swamp People show. When I got to the next stop I googled it and sure enough it was.

Texas ain't that bad really

I mean minus shitty beer selection.

Great Mexican Food for sure

We were in El Paso for a couple of days and in between dodging the border patrol we took a hike at Hueco Tanks. I know, I know they don't look like tanks but they do hold water in the middle so techinically....they are.

The Forest Around Cloudcroft

The town of cloudcroft is tiny and kind of a touristo trap so we just made our way past the shops and to a nice little slice of forest.

Mountains of New Mexico

A few miles outside of White Sands is Lincon National Forest and a little town of Cloudcroft.

Heading uphill the landscape changes in a hurry, as does the temperature.

New Orleans

This place is like another country. Not really France because the people are nice but it does smell like shit. I had a nice time visiting for a couple of days though, the food is great!

Interstate I-10

Not much fun in the rain. Or anytime really.

Panhandlin'

Took a drive up da coast a bit and ended up in Navarre Beach. The sand dunes outside of town are super cool but I could do without the huge condos.

Brandford Springs

Stumbled upon Brandford Springs (literally) after leaving High Springs.

While there I met a lady that told me "I ain't seen Brandford Springs like this in forty years."

(Meaning the visible rapids)

Then she told me about the "old Town" down the stream and to look around by the tree over yonder and ther'd be an old bottle for a suvenier.

Sure nough there wuz.

Expo West - Anaheim

It's weird leaving Florida. Heck it's weird leaving Cocoa Beach for that matter.
So I'm out here in Anaheim looking for some new products for the co-op at Expo West, the largest natural food show in the states as far as you know.
